I’m Kyra Stewart, a community connector, nonprofit professional, writer, and the proud founder of Purpose First—an idea born from the belief that human service organizations deserve people-centered support.

With over 16 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, I’ve worn many hats—program manager, meeting facilitator, fundraiser, event planner, and administrative backbone. My talents lie in the ability to provide support to overwhelmed staff, silos into collaboratives, and vision into clear impact. I’ve partnered with grassroots movements, schools, faith-based groups, and chambers of commerce to support everything from strategic planning to the logistics that keep missions moving forward.

Launching Purpose First wasn’t just a career move—it was a calling. I saw firsthand how leaders and dedicated staff were struggling under the weight of doing everything alone. I knew peer support, intentional partnerships, and thoughtful systems could help.

I believe the best work happens when people feel seen, heard, and valued, and I aim to foster that in every partnership I build.
